RedBack Coffee Surabaya (Review)

Hey everyone! How's your new year going? I'm too excited for this year already, you??
Recently, I saw a lot of flower arrangements in front of Papaya, I thought they re-opened something, because they have been renovating quite a while ago. But then I realized that a small coffee shop just opened at the front row. Since it's just right across my office, I just can't wait to visit there as soon as I can, so then I did.. :)

REDBACK COFFEE
Redback Coffee is a very small coffee shop in the front row of Papaya Groceries Store. It's in the west side of Surabaya. They only have one coffee bar & cashier on the left side, a table with four chairs on the center and a bakery on the right side. I guess it's just not a place for hanging out, maybe if you're in a hurry but you need a cup of coffee on the go and croissant for a quick breakfast, Redback coffee can be one of your choice.

They don't have a lot of menu to offer, but when I look at the menu board,
I realized that the price for their coffee are quite affordable!

I bought their hot chocolate since I don't drink coffee. Unfortunately, it doesn't taste like what I expected, and it suddenly putting my mood into the wrong direction, lol. It tasted too sweet and too strong for me, the flavor is pretty close to SilverQueen bar. I was expecting a dark chocolate taste like Starbucks, haha.. My bad for not asking before I bought it. But if you like milky taste chocolate, you might love it :) A little update, my friends said their Croissant tastes amazing! I will try it next time :)

  3. luckily u dont drink coffee. Otherwise, u will know how bad it tastes. Their pastries indeed look delicious and appealing. But too bad frankly speaking, maybe taking a few bite, u will like it, but before u even finish it, u may get sick of the bread. I tried at least 3 times for their different bread. All made me disappointed. One thing I dont even understand is just a small pastry shop why even hired over 6 staff in there and do nothing for assistance at all
